Dake Onsen

Dake Onsen is located on a highland at an elevation of 600 meters at the base of Mt. Adatara, and features one of the few natural acidic hot spring baths to be found in Japan. This place is also convenient as a lodging place for drift experience. Drawn 8 kilometers from the source, the hot spring waters are cooled to a mellow temperature, and are gentle and soft on the skin.
At the end of April, the Onsen Town Himalaya Boulevard leading to Kagamigaike Lake blooms into a cherry blossom tunnel, making it the perfect place for a stroll.
